Meaning of Opt-In and Opt-Out

### Explanation of Opt-In and Opt-Out Opt-In and Opt-Out are terms frequently used in the context of internet and security to describe important concepts related to privacy and data management. Cause of Death of Lance Reddick, the 'Concierge' of the John Wick Series

Image
<Note that there are some John Wick 4 story contents>. Early on in John Wick 4, when the Marquis shoots Caron (Lance Reddick) because he's getting rid of the New York Continental Hotel and doesn't need a concierge anymore. I was surprised because he was so well cast as the loyal and charismatic sidekick in the movie, and I was like, "Why would they cut him out of the movie so abruptly?  (Photo: wikipedia) After watching the movie, I did some research and realized that the actor had already died last month, at the ripe old age of 60. It reminded me of a common story about actors following their roles. Lance Reddick's cause of death (according to his death certificate) was ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease*. Ischemic heart disease causes angina or myocardial infarction**, so it's a heart-related sudden death, and since the discovery was made by officials (law officials, presumably the police), it's assumed that no one was ar...

How to Fix Mac Calculator '=' Button Not Showing Up

Image
In Mac calculators, sometimes you see a button that says "Enter" instead of the "=" button (see below). This can be frustrating, as pressing the Enter key will not result in a correct calculation. The solution is to go to the Calculator menu -> View -> Turn off 'RPN mode'*. * The Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) method was originally created to reduce computer memory access and evaluate expressions using a stack, and all Hewlett Packard desktop and portable calculators used RPN in the 1970s and 1980s, and continued to use it on some models into the 2020s. In computer science, RPN notation is used in stack-oriented programming languages such as Forth, STOIC, and PostScript. Forth, STOIC, PostScript, RPL, and Joy. One possible cause of vehicle jerking - throttle body cable connector

This is the result of a consumer's experimentation with the possibility, if not the cause, of a vehicle jerking, and it has some merit. Assuming the video is true,  If it's an older car, it's probably a good idea to replace the throttle body cable and connector with a new one,  You'll want to make sure you don't get water in the connector when you wash the car,  I'd make sure to downshift into neutral first if I had a hard launch.  However, in the video experiment, it looks like the RPMs can go up excessively if only the throttle body input is entered (in error), regardless of whether Excel is operated or not, which is a bit strange...  It works and makes sense for a certain range of compensation to avoid engine failure, but outside of a certain range it's dangerous, so it seems like the logic must be set up to handle it like an Excel input. If anyone is familiar with ECUs and such, please comment on this part. Source:  https://youtu.be/D0HvyFxmglM

Book Review: 南瓜とマヨネ-ズ (Pumpkin and Mayonnaise) - 魚 キリコ (Kiriko Nananan)

Image
南瓜とマヨネ-ズ (Pumpkin and Mayonnaise) - 魚 キリコ (Kiriko Nananan) I saw this book while visiting Ms. MJ's house. Since I like this kind of work, I looked up other books by the artist, but I was a bit shocked to find out that most of the domestic releases are through pirate publishers such as Highbooks, and it is difficult to get them through the official route after a month after publication. Anyway, after a lot of searching, I managed to get all of Kiriko Nananan's books. Known for her delicate portrayal of characters' emotions, Nananan's representative work tells stories that people in their mid-to-late twenties to early thirties have experienced at one time or another.

Book Review: Boogiepop and Others (Light Novel 1) (Boogiepop (Light Novel))

I decided to see what all the fuss was about when Boogiepop swept the Japanese archipelago, knowing only that it had won the grand prize in a game novel contest. I scrolled through the first volume of the Boogiepop series on my tiny PDA screen, hoping to build up some basic knowledge so I could watch the anime of the same name. The novel "Boogiepop and Others" is the first book in the Boogiepop series. I remember reading somewhere that there were nearly 12 books in the series as of fall 2004, but I don't remember the details. There are several main characters in this novel. To put it mildly, every character in this novel is a main character. The novel deals with a single event, but it is told from the perspective of several characters, one after the other. One character has no idea what happened to another unless there is a special event. This is also true for the reader of a novel. In the first part of the story, the events are experienced, summarized, and judged from...
