Cause of Death of Lance Reddick, the 'Concierge' of the John Wick Series

<Note that there are some John Wick 4 story contents>.

Early on in John Wick 4, when the Marquis shoots Caron (Lance Reddick) because he's getting rid of the New York Continental Hotel and doesn't need a concierge anymore. I was surprised because he was so well cast as the loyal and charismatic sidekick in the movie, and I was like, "Why would they cut him out of the movie so abruptly?

After watching the movie, I did some research and realized that the actor had already died last month, at the ripe old age of 60. It reminded me of a common story about actors following their roles.

Lance Reddick's cause of death (according to his death certificate) was ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease*. Ischemic heart disease causes angina or myocardial infarction**, so it's a heart-related sudden death, and since the discovery was made by officials (law officials, presumably the police), it's assumed that no one was around when he was in danger.

However, there have since been comments from Lance Reddick's family lawyer*** that the reports of a heart-related cause of death are inaccurate, as Lance Reddick was an avid daily exerciser and dieter.

Rest in peace Lance Reddick, "Mr. Concierge" of the John Wick franchise.
