How to Fix Mac Calculator '=' Button Not Showing Up

The solution is to go to the Calculator menu -> View -> Turn off 'RPN mode'*.

* The Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) method was originally created to reduce computer memory access and evaluate expressions using a stack, and all Hewlett Packard desktop and portable calculators used RPN in the 1970s and 1980s, and continued to use it on some models into the 2020s. In computer science, RPN notation is used in stack-oriented programming languages such as Forth, STOIC, and PostScript. Forth, STOIC, PostScript, RPL, and Joy.
